Danielle is a driven, focused, determined woman. When she and I headed to see Ben for the first look, she didn’t pause for anything. She had her goal in mind and beelined for her man. You would think a person like this wouldn’t have time for disruptions… and yet, she has the softest heart for animals (especially rescues); creatures that rarely do as planned. Ben quickly realized her passion when she commissioned him to help tend a sick horse on one of their first dates. I think she has struck a wonderful balance in her life and found a partner to encourage and champion both of these traits.
I fell in love with Ya Ya Farms and Orchards the moment we drove onto the property. The beauty of this little farm along with it’s painted grain elevator, red farm house, orchards, and open fields was pleasantly overwhelming. The orchard rows create perfect little frames for photos. Though we had to dodge a few thunderstorms that day, the overcast sky softened the light in just the perfect way. We always love a sunny afternoon, but will welcome the gentle light provided by an overcast sky. Getting into the country, be it the wedding deck on Vail Mountain or a little orchard tucked away, always makes returning to our suburban life a little more difficult. If our neighbors weren’t like family and we didn’t have teenagers so involved in our community, we might have already “headed for the hills”. As it stands, a future suburban escape plan is definitely in the works.
