Keystone Ranch Wedding: Katie + Scott

We love weddings at Keystone Ranch and we think Katie and Scott are very cute! Their relationship is sweet, fun… and, as a bonus for her, he absolutely adores her. They had an elegant destination wedding in Keystone at the end of August.
Katie and Scott did something very special and unique for their first look. They had a private Native American ceremony with Leon Joseph Littlebird on Keystone Mountain. Although it rained on the way up the gondola, the rain stopped just in time. Leon performed the ceremony and to say it was beautiful is an understatement. It was definitely a moving experience as wedding photographers and something we’d never photographed before. Katie and Scott were wonderfully centered and calm after their private ceremony. They were ready for anything, even more rain back at Keystone Ranch! The ceremony had to be postponed briefly and we’re so glad they waited it out. We love being able to shoot outdoor wedding ceremonies in Colorado when the weather cooperates. Actually, we don’t mind even when it doesn’t cooperate! Many of our clients have Colorado destination weddings and we understand the disappointment of having to relocate indoors. So, if they’re up for braving it outdoors, we’re game to photograph it! Anyway, the ceremony was flawless and the reception was a blast.
There was great Photo Booth fun, of course!
Their beautiful day, including the private ceremony, was coordinated by Emily Campbell of Go Bella. Great work Emily! The awesome Fred Hammond with Great time DJs rocked the house as well.
As a side note; can I (Gina) just say that Katie’s skin is AMAZING? I mean, absolutely gorgeous!
