I love our brave clients who will get up early for a sunrise engagement session. Brianne not only braved the summer morning chill in the Vail Valley, she explored the beautiful wilderness in heels with absolutely zero complaints. Oh, and looked amazing in the process. Our clients love the outdoors… either rocking Patagonia gear, or nude pumps and lace.
A perfect morning shoot in Vail can only get better if fly fishing is on the agenda for the rest of the day. And this was just one of those days. The crisp morning air in the valley was fragrant with the blooming flowers. The sun snuck over the Gore Range with just enough warmth to keep Brianne and Austin warm as we hiked a bit around East Vail. Brianne, from a town in Texas with very few trees, only had one request for the shoot… she wanted trees in the pictures. Vail obliged her handily!
After the shoot, I put on my waders and boots, tied up a few flies to my rod, and enjoyed a few hours of fishing in Vail and Silverthorne. Though the water was still a bit high from the epic snow runoff we had this year, I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day.
