Amy and Jordan’s October wedding at the Donovan Pavilion in Vail was beautiful. Colorado’s mild Autumn delivered amazing weather and seriously beautiful outdoor scenery in Vail. High country weddings in October can be a bit of a gamble with the fall colors and unpredictable weather… Amy and Jordan totally lucked out (so did we…).
One area in life Amy and Jordan don’t count on luck is professionally! They’re internet entrepreneurs (powder7.com) and professional athletes. They love competing and figured out a way to support themselves while traveling the world doing what they love. “Total overachievers!” As a side note, those were the first words out of Jason’s mouth when we met them to talk wedding photography! So smooth :), yet, they still hired us! They must hear that a lot.
Amy competed in a tropical triathlon last spring where her number (stuck to her arm) left a number 8 tan line. We loved seeing a beautiful bride on her wedding day with a faint “8” on her upper arm… a little of her personality peeking out. She was worried about it being visible in pictures, but unless you knew to look for it, you’d never know it was there. 🙂 Jordan found himself some snazzy black puma’s in leu of traditional dress shoes! To top it all off, they limboed under a ski during the reception! Amy and Jordan… you inspire us to be better athletes.
