If any of you out there happen to know Mike Rowe or have an inside track on a helicopter, please contact us immediately!
Arriving in a helicopter with Mike Rowe officiating are the only two special requests Erica and Chris have for their wedding day. I can just imagine their sun-drenched Vail wedding, a cool mountain breeze, Erica’s dress glistening like dew, the scent of freesia in the air … and Mike Rowe in dirt covered construction boots! LOL We love it! You can tell they want a beautiful wedding (and with their planner, TC Decker, they will have one) but, under no circumstance, will they change who they are in the process.
It only took about 5 minutes into our first meeting to realize that “who they are” are total goofballs absolutely in love with each other. We spent 45 minutes trying to figure out how wedding photography could be considered a “dirty job” and thus, contact the Discovery Channel to get Mike Rowe to come. Another 45 minutes talking about the Army, Jason’s terrible paralel parking job that they witnessed, and the apparent twin convention taking place downtown due to the crazy amount of twins we saw. The twins were quite distracting, actually! Only about 10 minutes (at the end) were spent chatting about wedding photography because they had to report back to TC to let her know they were booking us immediately! They were, clearly, just as fun during their engagement session.
