Wedding guests have a blast

It’s so much fun to attend weddings

Last weekend we had the pleasure of attending Dave and Jess’s El Paso wedding. Not sure if you picked up on that… we attended their wedding! Not only were we guests, but we were under strict orders from the bride and groom to relax and enjoy. It was difficult to be in attendance and not want to capture everything. We love Dave and Jess and it felt unnatural to be unable to capture everything that made their day special for them. We did bring one camera with us but left it at the hotel… next time we attend a wedding a camera will be in attendance, too (of course we would never interfere with the photographer doing their work lol). Needless to say, we love everything about photographing weddings and cannot wait to get back on the wagon next weekend!

As a side note, neither Jason nor I are “hip” dancers… AT ALL! However, despite our extreme lack of talent when it comes to being cool, we decided we were going to take this opportunity to dance the night away. We did… and had a blast together. It is freeing to be in love with someone who is as silly and “un-hip” as you are! Nobody to impress because the only one you care about already thinks you’re pretty special. Ok, enough gushing… if you ever spot us at a reception (of which we are attending)… we will be the two biggest dorks on the floor and proud of it! Anyway, Jess was lovely, the day was lovely, and at the end of it all they were married which, really, is the whole point! Congrats! We love you guys!
