Ashley + Steven | Engaged

Gina’s Take
Ashley possesses an elusive beauty. It’s not obtained with inch-thick make-up, hair extensions, the perfect fake tan, and clothes that scream “look at me!” Yes, her hair is beautiful and her clothes are classy and stylish… and she shines. She’s not hidden behind her outward appearance but, rather, it accentuates her. Our brides are like that. Natural, confident, and understated. My kind of woman.

Jason’s Take
We love it when our clients bring their dogs with them to an engagement session. People see wedding blogs, pictures on Pinterest, or even pictures we’ve taken with couples and their dogs and think “my dog could never do that”. The dogs usually appear well behaved, and rather pleased to sit patiently looking at the camera… not distracted by everything wonderful and interesting surrounding them. The key word in that last sentence is, “appear”.┬áThe reality is that it’s usually like capturing a split second of peace in the middle of a chaotic storm. We’re quite good at catching that one, single shot of the happy sitting dog… engaged with his owners and perfectly content. The outtakes are just as fun (if not more fun) as the actual sweet picture. For all of our future clients that are worried that your dog will be crazy on a shoot… rest assured, all dogs are crazy.

And we love every minute of it.

And for your enjoyment… here’s one of the outtakes. Yes, he definitely found something amazing to go after.
