Boulder Engagement Photography

Jason+Gina Wedding Photographers love engagement photography in Boulder. The incredible surroundings provided by Eldorado Canyon, the Flatirons, as Boulder are remarkable for an engagement session. This couple enjoyed a very quick engagement session prior to their wedding just a few days later. Their destination wedding at Dunufon Castle was beautiful, with plenty of wedding pictures to come.

Audrey + Sean | Engaged

Jason’s Take
There’s nothing as fun as a super quick engagement session… especially when it directly follows a great time chatting over a good microbrew. I met Audrey and Sean for a quick drink before their engagement session (translation: a little liquid courage for them). Many of our couples are happy to fuel up on a yummy local brew before an engagement session, and I’m happy to oblige them. Not only is it a relaxing beginning to an engagement session, it calms the nerves for people (especially us guys) who aren’t used to being photographed, and it includes beer.

On this particular occasion, however, our conversation became so engaging that we inadvertently lost track of time. In our effort to accomplish what we set out for in the first place, we pulled off the side of a road near Boulder, in this incredible field, for some crazy fun engagement photos. Though we definitely parked illegally (I offered to pay for any fines we received) the field was superb, and the Colorado sunset that afternoon was more than perfect.
Gina’s Take
If anyone knows my husband, he loves good beer and good company. Oftentimes I have to go collect him from a neighbor’s garage or porch because he got caught up talking and lost track of time. So, it came as no surprise to me when he came home and told me what happened with Audrey and Sean. Sometimes it’s the mistakes that make the greatest results!
