Bigger is always better, right? Intimate weddings have a bad wrap as being hastily thrown together, bland, and dare I say, cheap affairs. If Nicole and Luke’s under-twenty-guest Stanley Hotel wedding doesn’t blow that idea out of the water, nothing will! Every detail was overflowing with character and charm. While big weddings tend to be a blowout bash… I like to think of intimate weddings as being wonderfully cozy, like warming up next to a fire on the coldest night. All your closest family and friends sitting at one table sharing a meal together with laughter bubbling through the room…. bigger isn’t always better.
Gina said it perfectly. I’d love to add that the warmth of an intimate wedding is so sweet when our bride and groom insist we join and dine with them at the one large table with their closest family and friends. Nicole and Luke made us feel so incredibly welcome. It’s truly an honor to be a part of their lives – even if our paths only cross for one day.
Thank you Kara Delay with Love This Day Events for creating an incredibly detailed intimate wedding.
