Brittany + Brian | Engaged

Gina’s Take
Jason flew solo for Brittany and Brian’s engagement session on a perfect Colorado afternoon. Our first meeting with this sweet couple was such a good time that I knew they would be a blast to shoot. Needless to say, I was a bit jealous that Jason got to shoot them (without me). You see… Jason and I are a touch competitive. We are also married. The past few years we have learned… scratch that. ┬áIn truth, Jason (like any good man) has learned what we can compete on without causing a fight or tears from his (at times) overly sensitive wife. One area I relish the competition, and don’t get my feelings all hurt, is with the images we create. We keep an internal tally on who has the most “best shots” between the two of us. Before the shoot, I was definitely in the lead! The light was gorgeous, his Leica was performing perfectly in the bright sun, and Brittney and Brian were completely adorable. Jason officially crushed my lead with this one and, while I am happy for our couple, I am not congratulating my husband on his win.

I’ll take a win when I can…
