You may remember Ashley and Kyle’s engagement session from early August. We love when a couple decides to do an engagement session because it gives them the chance to get comfortable in front of the camera before their wedding day. Even though our style is non-intrusive and casual it can still be intimidating to be in front of a 70-200 zoom lens at first. I mean, that thing looks like a grenade launcher! We want our clients to be comfortable not only for ease during the wedding, but for the relaxed, natural images it produces!

We are also proponents of meeting our couples face to face to get to know them over lunch or a glass of wine. Again, establishing that comfort level makes them more relaxed once they are in front of camera. As an extra perk, we get a chance to see who they are as a couple. We get to know the nuances of their relationship… how they interact, what their future plans are, wedding details, their sense of humor, their proposal story… and the best part, we dig it all.  We adore couples in love.
