Gina’s Take
It’s always a joy to work in the same place that we play. Our weddings take us to some of the best ski towns in the world (Breckenridge, Keystone, Vail, Beaver Creek, Aspen, Steamboat, etc). David and Alison’s chose Ten Mile Station for their destination wedding. Ten Mile Station is definitely one of our favorite snowboarding rest stops. I love a good hot chocolate and Jason, of course, craves a local microbrew. Both can be found at Ten Mile. Editing this blog post makes us anxious for some snow so we can pull out our boards and hit the slopes. We are dreaming of a white Christmas not only for the sentimentality of it, but selfishly, to enjoy more than a few beautiful powder days.
Jason’s Take
Yes, powder days are in the near future. I’m with Gina on this one! Putting together this blog post definitely put me in the mood for some fun in the mountains. We love the Colorado mountains year round. Whether we’re snowboarding in Beaver Creek, or backpacking near Breck, the mountains are where we’re lucky enough to work and play. Alison and David were fortunate to enjoy an unseasonably warm afternoon at Ten Mile Station between days of Autumn storms that week. Their destination wedding provided an incredible opportunity for their family and friends to experience both Summer-like temperatures and a winter storm during the same week!
