Zach & Michelle’s Take
Jeannie & Daniel planned ahead for this amazing day. Not only did they pick the perfect time of year for a wedding in Beaver Creek, they got lift tickets for the four of us to go up and create some amazing mountain images. My favorite images, by far, are the ones that we just so happened upon at Saddle Ridge. Zach and I wanted to sneak them out for just a few more portraits while the light was perfect… and there were the most amazing fall colors right there behind Saddle Ridge. Jeannie, like most of our brides, was willing to navigate through a bit of wilderness in her dress… and heels.
We love fall weddings. The vibrant yellow aspens = Perfection. The only thing better than a fall wedding is a fall wedding in the Colorado mountains. And Jeanie & Daniel couldn’t have planned a more perfect day.
Oh… and custom bow ties for the groomsmen. Yeah, that makes for the coolest groomsman ever!
Jason & Gina’s Take
We were in Aspen on this marvelous afternoon enjoying the same beautiful sun and autumn colors with our bride and groom. Autumn weddings allow us to capture the incredible contrasts offered by the Colorado mountains. Tall dry grass, fire colored leaves, and snow-capped mountains… that’s September in Colorado.
The one thing that Zach and Michelle forgot to mention was the 5 minute bear hugs, filled with tears, they received from Jeannie and Daniel at the end of the evening. Gina and I couldn’t be more proud of how Zach and Michelle create such an important connection with the couples they photograph.
