Dani and Anthony dig “old hollywood glamour” and effortless pulled off a classy vintage wedding day. Her bridesmaids’ hair up in victory rolls were among the subtle vintage hints sprinkled throughout their Aspen wedding. The Hotel Jerome was transformed into a moody nightclub as Frank Sinatra (seriously, Derek Evilsizor is the most amazing Frank Sinatra performer ever) swayed to the rhythm of a live band. Dani and Anthony managed to have a wedding unmistakably Aspen, as well as unmistakably them.
The afternoon in Aspen was brilliant. It wasn’t one of those 100+ degree Denver days that drain all of the energy out of you. Rather, it was a warm, sunny, Summer afternoon wedding on the Aspen Wedding Deck. The air had just a hint of an amazing fresh rain smell to it and the trees applauded as the slight breeze kept the afternoon mild. Afternoons like this remind me of solid, long Summer bike rides, taking in the warmth of the sun, hoping to squeeze out the last few drops Summer before cold weather soon locks my bike in the trainer. Whether I’m on top of the world shooting a wedding, or in the middle of nowhere on a bike, I love days like that.
Thank you to all of the amazing wedding professionals that made this a beautiful day to photograph. Also, be sure to check out their Engagement Session in Aspen!
